The project explores an alternative way to compose photographs, using hand positioning as the starting point for a new instant camera concept. By translating the familiar gesture of framing a scene with one's hands into the product's design direction, WideFun aims to make the process of taking photographs more tactile and engaging.
The concept retains the appeal of instant photography, combining the anticipation of capturing a moment with the immediacy of a physical print. Its visual identity brings together contemporary product design and the nostalgic character of instant cameras.

Product Design / Concept Development / Product Visualisation
WideFun explores a conceptual instant camera for Fujifilm, reimagining the photography experience through hand-frame composition. Users form a rectangle with their hands to frame a shot, offering an alternative approach to composing photographs. The design combines an ergonomic body with a playful, contemporary aesthetic while retaining the immediacy and nostalgia of instant photography. Developed as a rendering exercise, the project focuses on product form, materials and visual presentation.

PRODUCT FORM & VISUAL IDENTITY
The camera's form was developed around an ergonomic body and a distinctive silhouette, balancing practical handling with a playful visual character. The design draws on the recognisable language of instant cameras while exploring a more contemporary interpretation.
Bright yellow was selected as the accent colour, giving the product a bold visual identity and reinforcing its approachable, playful character. The rendering process focused on communicating the camera's proportions, surface finishes and overall design intent.

3D MODELLING & RENDERING
This project focused on 3D modelling and product rendering, using digital visualisation to explore and communicate the concept. Attention was given to the camera's form, proportions, materials and colour, with the aim of presenting the design as a coherent product.
The final visualisation highlights the relationship between the camera's ergonomic shape and its distinctive colour treatment, presenting a conceptual direction for an alternative instant photography experience.
